About Me

Hi! My name is Marian Cooper and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I enjoy going to museums, making art using the mediums of collage and painting, and traveling to locations far and near to experience different foods and cultures. I also love spending time outdoors with my dog Kennedy who is a chihuahua and dachshund mix.

I love working with adults who find themselves struggling with self-doubt, anxiety, and difficulties in their relationships. I approach clients from a warm, supportive and engaging place and bring into the room the best parts of myself. I take a strength based, solution focused approach that offers goal orientated therapy with a direct, compassionate, and collaborative style.

I attended Baylor University for a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and New York University for my Masters of Social Work (MSW). I am also months away from receiving a Masters in Art Therapy Counseling from Hofstra University. I am originally from Texas and currently reside in Queens. I am excited to assist professional men and women overcome unhelpful patterns and create change.
